What damage can be done in a modern large San Francisco earthquake?

If an 8.0 hit San Fran now, what damage would be done to all aspects of life? I tried looking at info from USGS and other sites but most info just recaps the 1906 quake. It would be awesome if someone pointed me in the right direction to some sources
