I changed my harmonic balancer on a 76 buick skylark and now the it won't start is it the timing?

check to see if your getting spark and if not it's possible the ignition module in the distriburetor went out, sometimes they go out for no reason and you changing the balancer should have nothing to do with it not starting but the module going out could just be a coincidence.
