Is my doctor doing everything right? 39 weeks pregnant?

Just going by my own experience here, I got measured quit often to tell how big the baby was, my dr was just about correct. I don't know anything about the swelling, I guess I either was never checked for that or never had a problem with it. Yes it takes forever to see the Dr. when your there. They should talk to you more though and ask the nurse, they usually know a lot about whats going on. The crackling noise I have never heard of, if it scares you go to the ER, they will check you out and make sure our ok. Be safe, good luck and take care
