My girlfriend is taking birth control does that mean shes thought about ?

im just curious because im waiting for our first time together and i was wondering if shes already on birth control does that mean shes been thinking about it we talked about it a month ago and she was indecissive so i told her when she felt comfortable. is she just being safe or should i ask again i just dont want to pester her.
