Our grandfather clock chimes 2 hours off on the hour. If it is 7:00, it chimes 5 times. Can I fix this mysel?

The next time it chimes, move the minute hand back past the 12. Now slowly move the hand ahead to make it chime again. Do this twice and you will ring correctly. Set to proper time.
