Your thoughts on this page for someone in need?

It's well-written, but I'm a little concerned. If this letter is supposed to persuade someone to make a decision to save their own life, I personally don't think it would work. Nobody likes to be preached to, especially in a time of crisis. There needs to be a connection on a personal level. And if the person you are trying to help is not religious, telling them to turn to God is pointless. While you my value God/Allah/Whomever as the guiding light in your life, remember that not everyone does. If this letter was meant to save MY life, I would (as you put it) roll my eyes and chuck it in the garbage. Maybe rethink your letter by coming at it from the other person's angle, write something that has a great effect on THEM, not on you as the writer. Good luck!
