Fish surfboard plus/minus?

the fish is an awesome board. it is like the advantages of a short board with the advantages of a long board. it paddles great and flies through sections you would have thought impossible, and can turn and maneuver like one of those Ripstik things. : ) ive ridden mine in ankle high slop to 6 foot barrels. i have a 5' 9" 7S super fish and that works like a charm. the only problem is that i don't take mine out when its over 8 foot. i take out a 6' 7" board. it all depends on what surf you want to go in. by the sound of your skill level, you won't be surfing in big waves soon. so the fish would be a great option, especially with quad fins on it. FCS Q- PC3s work well.
